Bordharan
Bordharan is a famous Bor Tiger Reserve gate that is well-known for jungle safaris, varied wildlife and Bor Dam. Bordhran gate can be reached via Hingi( Hingani) village, it is around 73 Kms from Nagpur city. Sambar, Spotted Deer, Chinkara, Nilgai, Wild Dog, Leopard, Sloth Bear, Tiger and a lot of Peacocks have made the Bordharan Gate popular among tourists. One can reach Bordharan via Hingi Village, Wardha. This part of the jungle also has a water reservoir covered by a captivating landscape and hills.
How to reach
It is located near Hingani in Wardha District, Bor tiger reserve is 65 km from Nagpur. Hingi (Hingani) is the nearest bus stand from the sanctuary located at a distance of around 5 km.
Safari timing
There are two shifts: morning and night. There are two shifts: morning and night. Safaris in the morning are available from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., and those in the evening are available from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Booking details
nationalpark.mahaonline.gov.in is the official site for booking safaris. One has to select the date and name of the park that he wants to visit. Book the ticket according to the availability shown. Fill in details like name, age, gender, nationality, and photo ID proof numbers. For Indian nationals, Adhar cards, passports, driving licenses, voter IDs, etc. are valid. For non-Indians, passport details and country are mandatory. By booking a safari, you only secure your seat for the safari. Rest formalities are done on the safari day itself.
