Adegaon
Adegaon is a gate of the Bor Tiger Reserve and is renowned for wildlife sightings, water bodies, and scenic beauty. Adegaon can be reached via Amravati Road, Bazargaon. Adegaon is situated 55 kilometers away from Nagpur. This part of the jungle boasts a wide variety of flora and fauna. Tigers, leopards, sloth bears, deer, nilgai, barking deer, and a variety of birds can be spotted in Adegaon. The dense bamboo jungle is packed with several kinds of herbivores and carnivores.
How to reach
It is located near Hingani in Wardha District, Bor tiger reserve is 65 km from Nagpur. Hingi (Hingani) is the nearest bus stand from the sanctuary located at a distance of around 5 km.
Safari timing
There are two shifts, i.e., morning and evening. Morning shifts are from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Evening safaris are from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Booking details
nationalpark.mahaonline.gov.in is the official site for booking safaris. One has to select the date and name of the park that he has to visit. Book the ticket according to the availability shown. Fill in details like name, age, gender, nationality, and photo ID proof numbers. For Indian nationals, Aadhar cards, passports, driving licenses, voter IDs, etc. are valid. For non-Indians, passport details and country are mandatory. By booking a safari, you only secure your seat for the safari. Rest formalities are done on the safari day itself.
